WELCOME to the Sophatography Blog (Emily Sopha Photography)
… to the new Snap to It Blog. I’m still working out a few kinks, but I think it’s safe to say that most things are up and running smoothly (that is - until tomorrow when I discover something else that’s not up and running). Enjoy the new format and new images. Right here, right now, I’m making a commitment to post more frequently. I had a good run going, but somewhere, some how, life got in the way and suddenly months go by and I haven’t peeped a word. I’m anxious to share images from the Smuckers Stars on Ice show (I took my grandmother a few weeks ago) as well as my 4 year old son making maple syrup with his Opa in Michigan (”Really?” he wanted to know … “why do we have to drain it in to a bucket when I can put my mouth right on the tap, just like this?”) Of course there will be plenty of client pics, web design news, as well as the Snap Tips you just can’t get enough of! So enjoy and please take a moment to let me know you’re still with me and doing fine!
HAPPY SPRING!

Oh Little One … (on location newborn photography)
It’s always best to photograph newborns within the first couple weeks of life when their little bodies are still moldable! That’s not to say you can’t get great shots several months after birth … they are just different! Here are a few cute ones from a recent session (Okay - they are from March! I’m way behind in my blogging).
