HAIR on Broadway

I haven’t been able to concentrate today. I spent several days in NYC where I was able to visit friends and attend a photography seminar. One of the highlights though of the trip was finally going to see the Broadway musical HAIR. The musical was wonderful - such great music and energy - but it was special for me because my friend Gavin plays the lead - Claude. My friendship with Gavin dates back to third grade (I won’t say how many years that is!) and I’ve been with him every step of the way on his journey. I was overwhelmed this morning when I watched them announce his name as a Tony nominee for Best Leading Actor in a Musical. This will be his second nomination (the first being for Thoroughly Modern Millie) and I pray that he not only enjoys the experience once again, but this time has a chance to make a speech. Please tune in to the Tony Awards on June 7th and keep your fingers crossed!
